• "29% feel comfortable buying shoes online"
• "only 25% have worn shoes that are 4″ or higher" 

If it is, then I am definitely an outlier and I am definitely shoe obsessed. I mean the author, Lauren Sherman from Fashionista,  even hinted that the survey has very good reason to be inaccurate!

Growing Stronger and Getting Out of a Virtual World

It's crazy that when you realize and accept your weaknesses you actually grow stronger. Its empowering to find that imperfection is the most beautiful part of being human. Its motivating to know that despite flaws and mistakes you can still conquer the world! Its AMAZING to finally free yourself from the virtual world! My virtual world encompassed nothing but shoes. Can you imagine a world  where everything is about shoes? If I didn't get myself out of that funk...well then...Yikes!  But weird as it may seem, people are incorporating gadgets, food, electronics into their design of shoes.

So, it is possible to live in a world of shoes, if you are a really good designer and you can convert everything in your home into a pair of shoes... These are only a few pictures of what Caroline Stanley posted on Flavorwire.com. I was intrigued, I had a good laugh, I pulled on the Carrie Bradshaw face, then I thought it a bit disturbing. Either way, its art in all senses. That's what shoes are, a form of art. So are they my obsession? Are some obsessions healthy if they are awe-inspiring? what about my cravings for a pair of Aldo shoes? I might have to sit back and think about my view of my shoes as art.  Oshun

Although I physically do not look like Carrie Brashaw, I know I make that facial expression when I see shoes, especially when I walk into DSW and when I am on the Christian Louboutin website.  Welcome to the world of the superficial siren and her shoes!
